Photoshop CS6 64 crashes while loading--ntdll.dll error

3 different guys at Adobe tried to answer this one and none did. When trying to load/open Photoshop CS6 64 bit, I get this error and the loading crashes.

I have done clean boots and new installs (after removing the previous), without plug-ins. The CS6 installs run through completion, but the 64 bit version won't run. I have installed an updated screen driver (against the recommendation of HP). 32 bit CS6 works fine--and I don't want to remove it and start over.

Apparently it doesn't like my ntdll.dll. Event Viewer give me this:

Faulting application name: Photoshop.exe, version: 13.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x4f61c045
Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 6.1.7600.16915, time stamp: 0x4ec4b137

Fault offset: 0x000000000005152e
Faulting process id: 0x14bc
Faulting application start time: 0x01cd6abd457ede50
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 Bit)\Photoshop.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll

Any ideas?

That usually means that a driver has crashed -- so you probably want to check your video, printer, scanner and camera drivers.
If you have a tablet, check that as well.

Thanks Chris.

Everything was already checked and works fine. 5 printers and all are working (when needed); scanner is working as well. That doesn't mean of course that something isn't wrong somewhere. I changed the video driver on instructions from an Adobe tech (as I mentioned, HP told me not to, but I found a new one that worked and was for my screen). No change.

Still have a problem.
