app.preferences.interpolation = userResampleMethod;

The above single line script will cause an internal error 1200

More information the above statement should have been
var userResampleMethod = app.preferences.interpolation;
the above single line script will cause an internal error 1200
however it only fails with Photoshop default setting

var userResampleMethod = app.preferences.interpolation;
app.preferences.interpolation = ResampleMethod.BILINEAR; // resample interpolation biliner
app.preferences.interpolation = userResampleMethod;

Only fails with the internal 1200 when the Interpolation method is set to Photoshop's default setting "bicubic automatic" works with other settings.

so using a try catch the 1200 error may be a way around the error

try {var userResampleMethod = app.preferences.interpolation;}
catch(e) {var userResampleMethod = null; }
app.preferences.interpolation = ResampleMethod.BILINEAR; // resample interpolation biliner
if (userResampleMethod != null) { app.preferences.interpolation = userResampleMethod; }
else {app.preferences.interpolation = ResampleMethod.BICUBICAUTOMATIC;}

Did not work BICUBICAUTOMATIC is missing....

Hi John,

I'll take a look at this tomorrow and see what is its status. I logged a bug for it now in case this hasn't already been logged.

regards,
steve

It been a year now and the bug is still not fixed. There will be no CS7 only CC Adobe will stop selling CS6 at some point. Please fix the CS6 bugs before then.

SG hasn't tomorrow come and gone or is still that tomorrow never comes.

Hi John,

This was fixed in the subscription version of Photoshop CS6 (13.1). With the recent announcements, I'll put this one back on the hopper for revisiting as a 13.0.x fix.

...You're only a day away!
