My Photoshop Cs5 is behaving very strangely since I upgraded to Lion.
Every step or click in Photoshop takes 5+ seconds.
Reset Preferences.
Removed 3rd party plugins.
Reinstalled photoshop.
Nothing helped.!!

This is how Bridge CS5 looks on my computer! Argggh!
I am having the same problem with Bridge CS5. When I try to do slideshow view I get the fuzzy screen above as well. Bridge and PS CS5 are really slow, but Bridge is almost unresponsive.
That sort of problem usually means that there is a bug in the video card driver, and sometimes defective RAM in the video card. It's possible that there is some other cause, but only a few people have reported such a problem, and the ones I've worked with solved it with updated video card drivers.

You could be right about this being a display / video card problem.
But one thing I don't understand is why Photoshop CS5 runs perfectly without this bug? PS is also slow, but not anyway near the slowness of Bridge, that sometimes becomes so slow that it is unusable.

Without knowing the exact nature of the problem, I can't say.
The fact that they're slow is also a sign that something is wrong. Other users are not seeing that.

We don't know. There is something odd on your system, but we don't have any idea what that might be. You'll need to do more troubleshooting on your system to narrow down possible causes.
Go to Preferences , Performance , Memory Usage > Increase it to Max
Disable Open GL Drawing , and VOALA , photoshop is fast again !

Please note his response below, where he found problems with certain fonts on his system caused the slowdown.
Oops sorry ,didn't see that , but that means there is another bug that Apple needs to fix , cause i had the exact same problem and i fixed it by disabling Open GL , thanks Chris
I spent the whole night troubleshooting.
Bangla MN & Bangla Sangam NM were the problem.
I Disabled them and photoshop is fast again.

Ah, that means that the OS font system has a new bug in 10.7 (darnit, Apple just fixed a lot of font bugs). We'll try to find a copy of those fonts and investigate. Thanks for letting us know!
