My Photoshop keeps crashing randomly, also when working on small files (1Mb). I work on a file, then open another and suddenly the program doesn't work anymore and I can't click on anything. Please help me because I use Photoshop on a daily basis.

OS, hardware, ...?

Boilerplate-text:
Are Photoshop and OS fully updated and have you performed the usual trouble-shooting routines (trashing prefs by keeping command-alt-shift/ctrl-alt-shift pressed while starting Photoshop, 3rd party plug-ins deactivation, system maintenance, cleaning caches, font validation, etc.)?

Thank you for your reply.
It is weird because it works fine with 90% of the files I open, but then it crashes everytime I open files with the logo of our company in. Now I was updating our business cards, and everything seemed to be fine. I saved the file and when I tried to re-open it, nothing. No layers, everything was blocked.
The several files I have with our logo on them are psd or pdf files and are in 1 layer only. If I open the same files with another Photoshop on another pc they work absolutely fine, so it just depends on my Photoshop. Argh.

no crash report, it just freezes and I have to close everything via task manager.
Windows 7, 64-bit OS. No clue about the logo because I didn't do it, but I will definitely check. Thank you so much for your suggestion.

OK, so it's not crashing, just hanging or freezing.

Yes, sorry, not a native speaker. I have asked someone else to open the same files that keep giving me problems with another pc, and they work just fine. So the problem is caused by the combination of these files+my computer.

That is quite possible. In that case I'd look at third party plugins, the video card driver, and check for corrupt fonts.

Also, even native English speakers seem to get crashing confused with freezing for some odd reason.

Thank you very much for your help and patience. I will definitely try and see if the problem is related to one of the things you've listed.
