Photoshop CS5 crashes when trying to print on Epson Stylus Pro 3800

Hello,

I just bought a new iMac. Reinstalled my Photoshop CS5 from disk. Did the updates.. Connected my Epson Stylus Pro 3800 printer. installed the appropriate driver for 3800. It prints fine from any application on iMac except Photoshop. If loaded an image and trying to open the print-routine a fatal crash of Photoshop occurs.
If any one can help, thank you!
Kind regards, Leon

What OS version?
What does the crash report say? (and most crashes while printing, are due to bugs in the printer driver software).

Thank you!

OS X 10.9.2

I start the Print command in Photoshop CS5.
Then click "Print Settings", Photoshop terminates and gives a report of around 400 lines of programming (I could of course email you if needed).

I worked the last 4 years on my iMac from 2009 with Photoshop CS5 and this very same printer, I can't work it out..

regards, Leon

MacOS 10.9 and Epson printers don't seem to be getting along well.
Epson put out some updates, but we have seen quite a few crashes in Epson's driver code. You could post the crash log here, or email it to ccox at adobe dot com.

Looks like the problem was a bug in 12.0.0 (fixed in 12.0.1), and you hadn't installed any of the Photoshop 12 updates.

Thanks for the update - and I'm glad to hear that you're back printing again.
