Hi I am using Photoshop CS5 on Mac OS X 10.9.1 . Since last 6 months, I have been facing the problem of application crashing unexpectedly leading to loss of work. Have updated the Java engine. No other immediate cause can be detected. Request you to provide support on this issue. While there is no space here for the dump, I can provide it any time as it is highly repeatable and predictable.

This crash is caused by a bad font returning a bad preview from the OS, and when Photoshop tries to process the preview the bad bitmap causes a crash. We worked around this problem in CS6 so it wouldn't crash - but the root cause is a corrupt font or OS font cache.
