My photoshop CS5.1 (64bit) doesnt work anymore. If I click "save as" the programm ends abruptly. On 1sr time it happend, there was a windows failure window. The photoshop CS5.1 (32bit) still works. I'm working with Windows7 64bit.

This happens when saving any file format? Is it possible it's a user permissions issue? Have you tried creating a new admin user account and saving from the new user?

Thanks for the fast answer. Yes with any file format, but only in the 64bit version, not so in the normal 32bit. I tried it already as admin user. Does not matter I take an imported pdf or a new file from ps. Every time the same view. I click on "save as" and ps were closed.
I think it is a windows problem. Because at first time, I had the problem, there was a message from windows, but I don't remember the content.

Do you have any third party software installed? Filters, Plug-ins, Printer drivers?

If I had to guess, I'd bet it's a printer driver that doesn't like 64-bit.

I have the same problem too, already updated to photoshop latest version. but each time i click on file>save as the PS straight away close itself without even display the save as window. I didn't install any third part plugin so i guess it PS problem

Do you print from Photoshop? It could be a printer driver.

You could also try restoring your prefs:

It could also be a system UI modification utility -- we have seen some crashes in the OS open and save dialogs when third party utilities tried to modify the appearance of these dialogs, or messed up thumbnail extraction.

I also got this problem recently, including crashing when trying to open a file, but I seem to have fixed it (at least temporarily) by restoring all my preferences to default settings.
Thanks chris, hopefully this is the solution.
