In the past I have complained that this web site search engine was poor and did not work well and needed an advance search feature. An Adobe employee wrote the Adobe does not own or control the servers and software. However Adobe is a customer and can change service provider. This site keep changing the software and not for the good. The forum software has gone way down hill. In the past new appends were added to the end or offset off the append they were related to. This has changed the appends offset no longer exists and append seem to go near appends the are in response to but without the offset ther is no cleat path and an append that is inserted causes all appends below it to be re sequenced so an appends number cay change so you can reference appends by thread an number. Adobe need to make there service provider aware the Adobe users are complaining about this web site software. I see more and more appends complaining about the forum software in particular about the recent changes. Adobe please address you users concerns even if it means changing service provider.

Which part of the site are you referring to?

These forums (feedback.photoshop.com) are a service from GetSatisfaction, and have not changed since they were introduced.

The user forums (forums.adobe.com) have changed appearance recently, and are partly hosted using Jive software.

The rest of Photoshop.com is under Adobe's control but doesn't match your description.

feedback.photoshop.com search is just plain broken I created a problem report in which I included an old Adobe assigned bug number for I wanted to be able to search for it and find that thread and no other. When I search on the bug number it not found

Adobe forums as far as I can remember has been hosted using Jive software which has recently been updated. The update was not a good thing the old software was better. IMO

The forum upgrade from Jive was quite a while ago, the recent upgrade was an internal group changing the appearance of the site.

Hmm, yes, the feedback site search does seem to be lacking. It seems to prefer words from the title or tags over post content.
