Adobe Cloud DAM (Digital Asset Management) & Collaboration for Media Pros

When I first started using the account and the Photoshop Express Organizer, the immediate thought came to mind:

This isn't just a photo sharing tool...This could be the beginning of an amazing Cloud DAM (digital asset management) and collaboration for media professionals. Think for media pros.

I know that the media world has been and is looking for ways to use the cloud for its own asset management. And with the Express Organizer, it looks like Adobe could easily lead the way.

Right now, there aren't many good, inexpensive, and professional options. You either have to manage a network library (not easy with Aperture or Lightroom), or continually swap exported libraries with coworkers (can be a hassle).

I'd love to see you create a new way for photographers and media pros to store, backup, organize, tag, share, and utilize their media libraries in the cloud. This could allow for amazing collaboration of media pros like never before. And it looks like you've already got a nice start.

I'd gladly pay for storage and a system where I could store thousands of images, search by EXIF and tags, organize, and then sync back to local Lightroom/Aperture Libraries; add video with streaming and send to vimeo/youtube options; have different permissions for clients and collaborators; share and perhaps even sell various assets.

Plus 1 this if you'd love to see the same!

We use as a DAM solution at our studio. I'm not sure it has all the features you request, but it ́s developed especially for media professionals and have some great collaborations tools like Online Proofing & Approval and also almost the same Label and Collections features you find in Adobe Bridge.
It ́s easy to use and a perfect match for us.
