In Photoshop CC there is a bug when changing text attributes such as font size or letter spacing. This is an issue on both Mac and PC. When changing font size for example; random amounts of spacing is added between characters.

Howdy Andrew,

You have turned full justification on. You can turn it off in the Paragraph panel by clicking on any of the icons at the top EXCEPT the one farthest to the right.

Thanks,
David

I'm an idiot! Thanks! I thought it was part of a sug I was having with changing text size. The other week text was completely disappearing when you changed text size or font but that seems to have been fixed now.

No worries, Andrew. We haven't made any changes, but just so you know, when your text cannot fully appear within the bounding box, it disappears entirely. Maybe that's what you were seeing.

Have a good one,
David

David – is that true even when hyphenation is enabled?

Hi Jamie,

Yes and no. If a single run of text is too large for ALL lines, then it disappears. If it can be broken up in any way, however, then you'll see what can fit. That can even be a single glyph. But if a single glyph is too large for the space, then nothing appears, although there will be a + in the bottom right text box handle as a visual cue for the user.

Thanks,
David

Thanks David! I was actually experiencing the Mavericks Dictation issue - this problem felt very similar.
