Photoshop CC showing incorrect Memory Usage amount (running 32 bit by mistake)

Installed Photoshop CC today (8.31.13), but when viewing "Memory Usage" within "Edit" > "Preferences" > "Performance" it shows only half of the RAM for my PC. I have 8 GB of RAM on my machine, but Memory Usage shows only 3255 MB of Available RAM. The same Memory Usage window in my version of Photoshop CS6 shows 7227 MB of Available RAM. What's going on here, and is there any way to correct this setting in Photoshop CC?

You're running the 32 bit application.
You need to use the 64 bit version to access more than 4 Gig of RAM.

Chris,
Thanks for the help; I hadn't even noticed that fundamental error. I had mistakenly pinned the 32-bit version startup icon to my Windows taskbar and was launching CC each time from that so I just kept repeating my problem each time. Anyway, all's well now and many thanks again for your help.
