Photoshop CC - problem with "Help Improve Adobe's Products" popup window

I'm using Photoshop CC with Lightroom 5 on a MacBookPro running OS X 10.8.4.

Photoshop was running fine but today I got the "Help Improve Adobe's Products" popup window after selecting a RAW file in Lightroom 5 using "Edit in Photoshop CC". While the progress bar for "Reading Camera Raw Format" was at around 20% the mentioned popup window appeared and after I selected "Participate" the progress bar stopped and whatever I clicked within Photoshop produced the infamous OS X "error sound". I was waiting for a couple of minutes but Photoshop was just sitting there. I only could "Force Quit" it but I'm getting the same behavior every time I open a file.

Hey Ingo,

Are you seeing this behavior still?
Also, are you seeing this with every launch of Photoshop?

If so, we're working on this internally and would like to try a fix out.
Let me know if you're still seeing this and would be interested in testing out a fix on your system

Regards,
Pete

How was this problem solved? I've been struggling with this Photoshop problem for years and found the fix one year, but had difficulties with it. I'm running CS 6 extended on an iMac.

Hi Pete,

thanks for your reply. I don't see the behaviour anymore but I honestly don't remember how I fixed it, it was a month ago...
