Photoshop CC pencil and eraser don't start where I clicked

Since I switched from Photoshop 5 to the cloud-version (purchased for one year) I encounter an unacceptable problem when I use any command with erasing or change part of a picture. Indiffrently from where I start to use pencil or eraser, the line I want to add or erase does not start at the point I choose but anywhere in the picture creating a complete mess with erased areas or intended drawing, painting. So far I have not been able to correctly work with the CC-version. This problem started the very first moment I entered the advanced CC.
As I am nearly 80 years old and use Photoshop only for private pleasure I have`nt reacted immediately. But in consideration of the existing CC-deal
which costs me more than € 12 each month, I ask you to solve the problem for me in order to let me use the program in an unrestricted way.

That sounds a bit like some tablet/mouse driver problems that we've seen previously.

First, make sure you have Photoshop CC up to date (version 14.2.1), then update your drivers for any tablets or other pointing devices you have connected.

hallo Chris: thanks for your prompt reply.
This vers morning I updated my Photoshop CC, and in fact. the problem I have been bothering you with, has disappeared. At least with the short trial I started with.
Unless you hear from me again, everything is OK with my PhotoshopCC.
I apprecdiate your help!!
