The whole computer crashes? That would be a sign of something failing at a very low level (hardware or driver failure or a damaged OS install)

No., not the whole computer, my keyboard doesn't work when I'am using Photoshop CC for a longer time. To let it works again I need to reboot my computer

Do you have any third party plugins installed with Photoshop CC? Have you tried disabling them?

Also, have you checked all the OS shortcuts to make sure they're turned off?

And is the keyboard really "off" (caps lock light doesn't work)?

Do you have any keyboard customization applications running?
What about if you try using Photoshop in a new admin user account?

Howdy Anna,

Let me try to help you. It sounds like there are times when your keyboard quits working in Photoshop (only). You are running Photoshop CC on Mac OS 10.9.1. Is this all correct?

What language version of Photoshop are you running? What language version of your operating system? What language is your keyboard? Do you have any unusual keyboard software installed? Do you use a tablet, particularly a Wacom tablet? Do you use any unusual mouse? Are you running any application that intercepts keyboard commands, to make screen-captures or launch other programs?

If you could answer these questions, I should be able to help you run down the problem.

Thanks,
David

Thank you David, it is correct, my keyboard quits working only in Photoshop. And I have Mac OS 10.9.1 where is installed Mavericks.
The language of Photoshop, operating system and keyboard is Dutch and I use the Apple Bluetooth keyboard. My mouse is Logitech wireless.
How can I see if there is any application running that intercepts keyboard commands? I can't find it.
I'am follow evening school of photography and after a few weeks I have an evaluation and I need Photoshop to practice.

Thank you very much that you want to help me

Howdy Anna,

Okay, since the problem ONLY happens in Photoshop, that makes me more concerned. I'm wondering if you have a conflict between your keyboard and our app. You should see some sort of software to control your keyboard under System Preferences. Typically, there are sidecar apps for such devices which often have one or more shortcuts to invoke certain functionality.

If you continue to have trouble, I'd be happy to do an internet-hosted screenshare with you in order to get to the bottom of your problem. All you need is a connection and a phone line (the number should be toll-free in Europe). I'm in San Jose, California and therefore on Pacific Time, nine hour behind you, so my mornings / your evenings probably work best.

Please let me know,
Thanks,
David

I'm glad I could help, Anna.

If this works for you, would you mind sharing that so I can help other users with this information?

Also, what settings did you deselect under System Preferences? I'd like to figure out the root cause of this bug and fix it or send it to Apple to fix. I cannot reproduce this on my machine...

Thanks,
David
