In Photoshop CC, using Intel Xeon Mac OS 10.9, The liquify filter has an issue where the "show backdrop" view is blurry.

Hi David,

Can you post a screen shot of what you're seeing? How do I add a screen shot on this feedback site?

The project I'm working on now isn't something I'm allowed to share, unfortunately. I tried to recreate it with a separate image, and it wasn't as dramatic an example. Basically, just imagine that you're using liquify and when you check the box for "show backdrop", the image becomes quite blurry. As if there was a gaussian blur effect. When I uncheck the box, the image is sharp again. It just makes it difficult to see the difference in details because the "before" image isn't too useful.

16bit file? RGB? Dimensions might help.

Off hand I can't reproduce with a Canon raw file and single floating layer and a background layer. We can take a look at this one when we connect tomorrow.

Hi. i have same problem. Windows 7 64-bit, Photoshop CC. I just open image, open Filter-Liquify and if i check "show backdrop" image looks blurry.
Problems with any images: doesn't matter is it full size cr2's from my Canon Mark2 (3744x5616, 300dpi, sRGB, 8bit) or 1000x1500 (72dpi) with custom shapes. Did anyone solve it?

btw, I used Photoshop CC 14.0.0, 14.2.1.
I tried couple versions of Video drivers for my nVidia gtx 660m (even tried latest beta) - nothing changed.
Then I just copied Liquify filter from CS6 and all works good (without ability to use liquify as smartfilter).
Can I do something with it?
