Photoshop CC liquify filter

I am running the latest Photoshop CC. Other filters work but when trying Liquify I get a black screen that opens instead of a copy of the image that will be worked on.

Update your video card driver from the GPU maker's website.

I had done that already Chris. Also, as an fyi, if I use the alt key to bypass the GPU I get the image to pop out in the liquify screen. My laptop uses an AMD Radeon HD 8750M display adapter.

I tried to update but it said the most recent driver is installed.

Did you update from AMD's website, or Microsoft (big mistake)?

I think I was pointed to Microsoft, can't remember.

Always update video card drivers from the GPU maker's website, so you don't end up with years out of date drivers from Microsoft.
