Photoshop CC loads and displays workspace but cursor is not functional in the software.

Must use Task Manager to close PS.

Cursor works fine in all other apps including Adobe CC apps.

Re-installed PS, no change.

Tried sign out and sign back in to Creative Cloud.

Win7, Quatro2000 (current driver).

Have you installed all the Photoshop updates?
And did you update the video card driver from the GPU maker's website?

PS "up to date".
Updated Nvidea Quatro2000 to current driver from Nvidea website.
Tried sign out and sign back in to Creative Cloud.

I think this problem started when I double-clicked on a TIF file in a folder. PS came up as the default picture viewer, but was frozen. Since that time it does not function.

I'm hoping someone on this board has seen this. I'm stopped! No Photoshop!

The only program that hangs up.

Other than reloading the OS, I don't know what else I can do. That would p*** me off.

Please help.
