Photoshop CC freezing bug

There's been a strange bug that's been occurring ever since the first update I received after beginning to use PS CC. Basically what happens is the Ps stops responding until you click on a Ps window. For example, say I'm using the brush tool and I want to use a keyboard shortcut to resize the brush, close my selection, etc. Ps won't respond, almost as if its frozen. In order to get it to respond I have to click any where in Photoshop and then I can use my shortcuts. The most annoying moment is when this happens when using the lasso tool to make a selection. If this strange freeze occurs while I'm making a selection, the next click closes that selection. The only way to prevent that is to hold down the space bar and click, that way when it begins to respond it is on the hand tool and doesn't close my lasso selection and I can continue from there. This problem only occurs when using Photoshop CC.

(I was hoping that this was a bug reporter that the developers could look into. But as I go through this process I see its going to be posted on a community forum, and its doubtful that this will solve the problem. It seems unlikely this can be remedied by troubleshooting, and needs to be addressed in an software update.)

This is the proper place for Photoshop bug reports, this Forum is being monitored.
But omitting exact version, OS, possible plug-ins, ... from a bug report seems ill advised.

Yes, the engineers won't be able to help you without any relevant info. Your OS, the exact version of Photoshop, the graphic card drivers, a reproductible case, etc.

Charles,

If you're using OS X (which I assume you are), you're likely hitting a bug we've got a solution for: http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/p...

Thanks,
Adam

Thanks Adam,

While I haven't had any "white windows" some of the other symptoms sounds similar. I installed the plugin and I haven't had the bug in the last hour (and it was happening every few minutes before) so I'm hopeful this did that trick! I'll be back if the problem returns.
