Photoshop CS6 corrupts certain files before attempting to save, saying, "Cannot save file due to a program error." Or "cannot build a preview."

Have you installed the updates?
Which OS version?
Are you saving to a file server?

Not sure. Have to ask IT.
Lion 10.7.5.
No. Saving to a folder in Documents.

We've seen lots of MacOS errors saving to file servers (due to bugs in MacOS that we're attempting to work around), but not much on the same machine.

Cannot Build a Preview is also not common. I think the only time we've seen that happen before was due to a bad hard disk.

Also, why do you think the files are corrupt?

IT updated Photoshop CS6 for me today. I don't know if the problem will recur.

I don't think the hard disk is bad, but it is good to know in case it does start showing signs.

I don't know if the files are corrupt. I also do not have any clues as to what may cause the program error.

Thank you.
