I have reinstalled the app, but keep having the problem on my Sony Xperia 10mini mobile phone. Each time I try to open the app Photoshop.com, I get the message it was forced to close, before it opens mostly.
Anyone have an idea what goes wrong, or what to do? I really miss using it...!

This was not a problem in the beginning. I have updated my phone regularly with Sony regarding the Android operative system.

Hello

First off, let me say thanks for taking the time to post your problem. We are not able to reproduce your issue on the Sony Xperia X10, or other Android devices our Photoshop Express app supports. Still, I have some questions and troubleshooting tips as follows:

- How stable is your network connection? Sometimes when changing over from 3G to WiFi, or when your primary network connection is unstable, the error you describe can occur. If this is the case, it should happen with other apps that send and receive data
- How much available RAM do you have on your device? Not having enough free RAM can also cause this error. If you restart your device and load only default OS components, and not other apps that may consume lots of memory, does that help?
- You mention the app used to work. Have you changed anything on your phone, for example, updating the OS/Firmware version installed? What version info do you see when you launch Settings > About Device, for Firmware version and Kernel version, and anything else that may be relevant like build number? Are you using a standard OS, or are you running something else not provided by the manufacturer? Have you rooted the device, or tweaked other things about the device setup? Are you perhaps blocking any core OS component from loading which you weren't previously doing when you first started using Photoshop Express?
- Aside from the info you already shared, can you let us know anything else about your device setup, network(s) used, meaningful steps to reproduce, etc?

Please let me know if anything above helps, as it may help other users checking here.

Thanks,
Charlie

Hi Sonya

Thanks for sharing the details. I will pass them along to our developers, hoping they help to nail down the problem. I'm still not able to reproduce after system updates and heavy app usage on my own devices.

In the mean time, could you try something, and report back if it helps? Go into your device Settings > Applications > Manage applications, select Photoshop Express and clear it's data?
