Photoshop Action: Problem Destination folder doesn't exist (for multipl. users)

Hi,

been trying for a few days to get an action running on different Mac's to auto-resize some images and export to a a defined folder ( HD/Shared/ mobile_banners)
So far so good...

Created that folder on other Macs before running any action.

But running the action on another Mac still gives me the error of 'Destination Folder doesn't exist)
When i look into the action, the 'Export' details are as follows:
"File or Folder not Found"

Any ideas how this can be solved?

The idea is to have multiple users on different Macs use this action, without having to modify it individually to have a correct destination folder.

Thnx!
Rik

Rik, did you try with a regular save function? (so that it can be used in batch?)

No, haven't tried that, since these files must all finalized as 8-bit png,
and with the 'save as' function there is no option to select 8-bit png as far as i know.

You may want to look at using scripting. The options for specifying relative paths is much more flexible/powerful.

A solid idea, haven't really thought about it, since I'm not really comfortable with scripting.

But will give it a good look, since Actions/Relative paths really don't seem to mix...
and time is an issue.
