Currently, when you transform a smart object you will always get that object's entire canvas size as the control nodes. That includes shadows, descenders, ascenders, grain, glows, blurs etc. Many times the area we are interested in defining the size for is much smaller than everything that surrounds it. Would be great if we could keep manipulating the entire area of the smart object using a smaller, more precise selection - it will allow more control and easier alignment. Especially when it comes to distorting and warping.
