PHOTOSHOP 6.0 image size default settings

I have Photoshop 6.0 and would like to alter the defaults on image size and pixels/inch to 6 ins width and 300 pixels/inch as this are the settings I mostly use. When dealing with a batch of photos it is a chore to have to keep altering the settings each time.
