Photoshop: 3D COLOR STUDIO - applying natural phenomena on colors

Adobe’s color tools are quite abstract currently. I think they don’t use enough our daily experience with natural visual phenomena. So I suggest an aditional (not instead) and natural way, which would allow us to combine theory and direct experience, depending on situation and needs.

We all know 3D software or our own 3D engine. Such a software offers the possibility to move objects in space, apply fog and other atmospherical effects, introduce diverse light sources and manipulate their properties and also use and manipulate material properties. Natural colors are always dependent on diverse physical conditions, which can be quite good simulated in such a 3D software.

I suggest an additional and highly specialized 3D space as color studio, where we would be able to create and manipulate color schemes applying natural phenomena on simple colored objects, e.g. light & atmospherical properties, material properties etc.

The 3D COLOR STUDIO would be exclusivelly dedicated to the color creation, hence it would only contain elements and tools specialized on that and no other distraction and unnecessary work steps. Although I’m talking about 3D, I mean a very reduced space, only including things we need to understand, combine, manipulate color and finally create beautiful color schemes, inspired by natural phenomena.

It would be great to have such a 3D COLOR STUDIO ;-)

Thanks, Michael
