Photoshop 14.2.1 pasting from AI still fails

Photoshop 14.2.1 x 64, Mac OSX 10.8.4 x 64

The old established workflow of copying content from AI to PSD has "supposedly" been fixed in this 14.2.1 update. It has not been fixed. :-(

Steps to recreate the issue:
1. Create an AI file: 11" wide by 8.5" tall.
2. Set Document Raster Effects Settings to RGB, 300 ppi
3. Make a Layer titled, "Bounding Box", make a box with no attributes 11" x 8.5" and position it at the AI document edges (filling the 11" x 8.5" space)
4. Make a new layer and draw an ellipse or something, keeping it within the 11" x 8.5" page boundaries
5. Save the file
6. Select everything on both layers and copy.
7. In Photoshop 14.2.1, create a "New" document
7.a At this point, Photoshop should (as always until recently) show the new doc dimensions as 3300 px wide by 2550 px at 300 dpi. But it doesn't do this old and desired/necessary behavior anymore, even after the 14.2.1 update.
7b. Instead, Photoshop 14.2.1 displays the new document dialog as width 792 px, height 612 px, resolution 72 ppi, just like it did in 14.2.

This is not the normal behavior for copying from AI to PSD, and it needs to be fixed, brought back to PSD's original (pre-14.2) functionality.

Alternatively, if you save the test AI file, and attempt to open it in PSD 14.2.1, Photoshop now ignores the Bounding Box layer in AI, and only sees the upper layer (an ellipse our case). It gives you whatever the size of your ellipse is, at 300 ppi.

This also needs to be brought back to PSD's original functionality (Pre 14.2).

Please fix this. Thanks for listening.
