Photoshop CC 2015.1 - workspace keeps resetting

Hello! Every time I open a document, workspace sets back to "Start" and every panel is gone. That makes me mad a lot. Why it can't just keep the one I have selected before... I see it as a bug that has to be solved. (using latest version)

Did what you suggested, re-started Photoshop CC and it worked like a champ.  Thank you!

Actually it's not a bug,but just annoying setting. I found that it's possible to uncheck in Perferences under General - not to use Start as a default workspace.

This is also happening for me and I think it's a bug.

'Show start workspace when no documents are open' is un-ticked yet it continues to show the start workspace and every time I reopen Photoshop a different workspace shows up (varying between Start, Essentials and 3D).

It doesn't seem to remember my custom workspace so I have to continue to reset it. Very, very annoying. I'm using the latest version - just updated this week.

If it's not a bug, it's definitely a misplaced and mislabeled setting. First, it's a Workspace setting, so I should be able to find it under Workspace in Preferences. Second, when checked it seems to show the Start Workspace regardless of whether a document is open or not.

Unless me opening a file in Photoshop means 1) Photoshop opens, then 2) it shows the Start Workspace because no documents are open, then 3) my file opens, still in Start Workspace. In which case its stupid.

I hate needing to adjust my workspace every time I start Photoshop.  The suggested uncheck of "Show start workspace..." doesn't work.  My workspace needs to be adjusted each time.  Frustrating.

What workspace are you seeing when you launch? (can you provide a screen shot of the entire workspace with the Window > Workspace > submenu displayed so I can see what workspace is checked? (or make a video of the behavior you're seeing)
