Photoshop won't recognize printer.

Starting a few days ago, I get this message when I try to print from PS CC:
"There was an error opening your printer. Printing functions will not be available until you have selected a printer and reopened any documents."
It has been working fine until then. I have downloaded the latest driver from Epson, but no change. I'm using an iMac with OS 10.9.

That means that there is a problem with the printer driver, and Photoshop cannot use that printer driver because of the problem in the printer driver.

Sometimes uninstalling and reinstalling the driver will fix the issue. Other times it requires an update to the driver software.

I downloaded the latest driver from Epson. Twice. It still doesn't work and it was fine until last Tuesday.

I am still unable to use either of my two Epson printers, getting the same message as before. I can print from other applications, but not PhotoShop. I've downloaded the latest drivers from Epson and tried the Command-option-shift trick without success. I also upgraded to Apple Yosemite.
