Went to open PS yesterday and it was poof. No trace of it, No Icon, No Nothing.  I installed PS2017, seems to working fine. But very strange.

Hi Gary,

What OS did you install on?  Have you searched for it via the Finder / File Manager?

Thanks,
David

Win 7 Pro, 64bit. I searched, not with finder. I know where it has been installed in the past, cause I grab a shortcut from the .exe file.

I just thought I would throw this out there. The 2017 installation seems fine.

Thanks, Dave

Hi Gary, are you saying the prior versions disappeared before or after you installed Photoshop CC 2017? Installing a new version of Photoshop CC removes prior version unless you uncheck "Remove Old Versions"

No, the old version. Last year, when the 2017 version came out,  it installed automatically. I had a lot of problems with it, so reverted to the prior version. This was the first problem I had with that version. Like I said, I was just putting this out there for anyone who might have the same issue. Would be interesting to know how this happened. But the 2017 seems to working just fine.

Thanks Jeffery for the reply.
