Photoshop: Update or Memory Problem?

Hi, I pay monthly for Photoshop CC 2015 1.1 and am suddenly having problems editing and saving files. I'm currently working on an A3 size image (Res 300 pixels), but this is what I get before opening it: "Documents greater than 30,000 pixels in either dimension may not be compatible with older versions of Photoshop and/or other applications." As a result it takes up to 10 minutes to process editing and when I go to save as a JPEG it says there is not enough memory, try saving without optimiization or as a baseline JPEG. Do I need to update my version of photoshop? What do I do?

An A3 document at 300PPI should only be 3508x4961px. Sounds like your document is much larger than this. If you open the image and go to Image > Image Size... what does it say the "Image Size" and "Dimensions" are in the top two lines of the dialog?
