Every single time I type anything with Photoshop with any font up to six letters, it would just tell me "Could not complete your request because of a program error." and if I kept repeating in trying to type over and over again up to 6 letters, it would just crash. I really need help here, sometimes I try to write paragraphs with Photoshop, but I can't because of this error. I am using Photoshop 14.0 and I also used Photoshop 14.1 & 2 but still the same. On my old mac laptop, did not have the same problem, HELP!!

Have you installed the Photoshop CC 2014.2 update?

Photoshop 14.0 is not the current version, 15.2 (aka 2014.2) is the current version.

Hi Rakan,

We have heard a few reports about font issues like those you're describing, but haven't been able to reproduce anything ourselves.  Thus far the problems seem to be isolated to Windows 7 installations.

What Operating System are you running?  What specific version of Photoshop are you running?  You can get this info by clicking Help > System Info and pasting the results into a response here.

A workaround to the problem which helps other users is to turn off the Font Cache via the Type menu.  Does this work for you as well?

Please let us know,
Thanks,
David
