Hi Jaroslav,

So this problem only happens to you sometimes?

Yes sometime the marks will disappear. I do not know if I saw it in CS5 or CS6 also. It is a relatively infrequent bug or I've not notice it when it became. Anyway happened to me on two different computers.

Howdy Jaroslav,

I'm wondering, particularly based on what you've described, if this is triggered by some other app on your machine.  I've never heard this complaint from any other user in any language.  I checked Czech myself and couldn't repro.  If it comes back again, I would ask you to let us know what other apps you are or have been using.  Are you, by chance, using a tablet of some sort and/or companion app?

Thanks,
David

I am using custom theme/skin for windows GUI (buttons, taskbar, window, ...) Maybe this could be problem.
At home I have win10 without custom skin. So I will check if the problem occurs here.

Again. 8 days after.
Another computer. Win10, last version CC 2015.0.1
It seems that the custom skin for Windows is not cause.
Screencast: https://youtu.be/7PdxIRU9IPc
In both cases, I restored the computer from hibernation.
The start OS was 4 days ago.

Howdy Jaroslav,

Hmmm, this is odd.  I see the bug but I'm not sure of the cause and have heard no other, similar complaints.  I notice that your menu is colored.  Did you do that from within Photoshop?

Meanwhile, I have passed your issue and video on to a couple of team members.  I've no idea if they'll have a solution, but hopefully...

Thanks,
David

Maybe before I converted image from RGB to CMYK, it was fine. But I'm not at all sure.

I colored menu in Photoshop CS5 and I copied settings, to the new version. After the restart PS check marks are ok and I am unable to reproduce the bug.

That would lead me to believe that the trigger/cause is something that you're doing during the session with Photoshop.  Not that you should lose your check marks; that's clearly a bug.  I'm just trying to figure out the cause so can then work on a solution.

The same bug I saw in the CS5 few years ago. But I did not give much attention to this bug. Maybe it was CS4 I'm not really sure.

Thanks for those links, Jaroslav.  I'm not sure why I never saw those posts -- I don't think I was on vacation.  No matter.  I'm going to follow up with the Tech Support folks to see if they have any ideas.  It does seem like relaunching clears the problem, but I'd like to track down the cause...and fix it.

Thanks,
David

Thanks for your interest. But sincerely. These are the little things that bother me the least. :-) For example this is worse: https://youtu.be/PL27YRvfiuQ
On my computer is running photoshop a very long time. Therefore, the greater the chances that it will turn off crash than me. It also forgets swatch and macros. So sometimes you need to set new values about three times.

Right now it happened again. I opened the image in black and white, and tried to convert it to RGB. Win7.

At home I try if it reset the switch to the Design Space and back.

Howdy Jaroslav,

I've tried several times to reproduce this issue myself, but I've been unable to.  Further, no other user has reported anything similar.  That leads me to suspect that you have a very specific trigger on your machine which is contributing to the issue.

Thinking more about this, you did mention that your menus are based off some CS5 files, rather than the native CC ones.  This concerns me a little as CS5 was more than three major versions ago and there have been MANY changes since then.  I would ask if you could completely remove the CS5 menu settings and revert to native CC ones -- I realize this is a pain, but I've a feeling the problem you're encountering will also disappear.

Also, just in case, you're running the Czech version of the app, right?

Thanks,
David

I noticed one thing. That in "action recording" > "inser menu item" - check marks are hidden. I guess this is the intended behavior. But maybe something triggers this feature at the moment when it should not be triggered.
