I just downloaded Photoshop CC 2014. I am signed in, but Photoshop stops working immediately. I can't do anything. I have made sure I am signed out on my other computer. Any suggestions?

Does it crash? Or does it just exit immediately after starting?

I get the generic message that it has stopped working and Windows will search for a solution. Then the cursor gets all jerky and I can't do anything except go into task manager and close it down that way.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled -- the same thing happens each time.

OK, so it crashed.

Check the system event viewer for the details on the crash.

And you should go ahead and update your video card driver from the GPU maker's website (NOT Microsoft or a system builder), since the most common cause of crashes on launch are bugs in outdated video card drivers.

With the help of MicroCenter Tech support, the driver was reinstalled. The device is an AMD Radeon HD6450. It did not fix the problem. I have the event viewer up, but I don't have a clue how to interpret it or what to do next.

We need the report details, especially the name of the faulting module (which is usually the video card driver).

Next time, try an actual screen capture, or copying and pasting the text.
But that shows that the AMD video card driver is crashing.

Did you update the AMD driver from AMD's website, or did you mistakenly try to install an update from Microsoft or a system builder?

Yes, it was updated from the AMD website. Photoshop CC is the only program that does not work correctly.

I have decided to not use your products on this computer. I don't want to invest any more time in this problem.

I'm sorry to hear that you are unable to use Photoshop over a simple video driver problem. Yes, Photoshop does expose more problems in video drivers than many other applications - because Photoshop is making more use of the GPU/video card than most applications, and does significantly more error checking for problems with video cards and drivers. But AMD might be able to help you figure out why their latest driver is crashing on your system and not crashing for most other users.
