I've brought this up a few times. It's been going on since June. Pshop will freeze and crash, then restart; sometimes it makes the iMac shut down. I've tried running it without GPU, tried with plugins disabled. IOS is always up to date so driver is always up to date. It was fine for years until about three or four months ago. I have today's crash report as three screen shots, the first of which is attached. It loses the past few minutes' work but seems to recover most of what I did. I took the iMac to the Apple store and the "genius" ran tests, saying the machine is fine. So it's not the hardware, the IOS is up to date running Sierra 10.12.6, the graphics card is AMD Radeon HD 6970M 1024 MB, Photoshop is updated whenever there's an update ready. Now plugins aren't currently disabled as Pshop has restarted. I never knowingly added any plugins. Suggestions?
