Photoshop startup screens

Hi Adobe

I have a suggestion for you regarding startup screens for your software.

First of all. I think using a face for a startup screen is a gamble. Not everyone on the planet is going to identify with a single face.

If you have to be forced to look at a startup screen, its best to make it abstract or impersonal or at least make sure the face is universal. By far the worst startup screens Adobe has used to date have been the current Photoshop and CC 2015 for Illustrator.

As a user for over 20 years, I personal don't even want to click on the software despite knowing that there are cool features I want to use. I'd rather just use the older version. Everytime I'm inspired, I just don't want to see a rather depressed looking woman who looks like she's just come off a drug trip. And I don't want to have to minimize or walk away from my computer either.

I'd like to suggest having two or three options to click through when you startup and the software remembers your preference. I think this in favour to allowing users to customise startup screens which can lead to all sorts of horrible potential outcomes.

See what you can do guys. Best of luck and thanks so much for including symmetry brushes into Photoshop. Amazing work. Now see if you can stick in some perspective guides too.

All the best
Andrew

There's already been multiple posts on this. There are sooo many more pressing issues that affect workflow and innovation the engineers could be spending their time on, this is very trivial.

I've looked around on the net. Solutions only for older versions and mostly for PC. If anyone finds anything..
