Photoshop saving to Lightroom with errors

If I use the lasso tool to create a selection, and then create a mask with that selection, then add a curves adjustment to that selection, then feather that edge, it creates a manual vignetting (which is the purpose of what I am trying to do). It looks correct in photoshop, but when I save it and open it in light room, the feathering is gone and it looks like crap as the lasso selection is extremely obvious. I create my own vignetting all the time and this has never happened before. I have restarted,I am up to date on everything and tried creating new layers to see if the issue would go away, but new vignetting have the same issue.

OS? What version of Lightroom? What version of Photoshop? How is your monitor calibrated? What color space are you working in when you are in photoshop? What file format do you save as before "open it in Lightroom"

Some detailed steps for your lasso tool settings and the effect you are using to achieve vignetting would be helpful too.

Hi Rikk, thanks for the reply. Answers below:

OS 10.11.2
Lightroom and Photoshop CC 2015 (up to date)
colour space is sRGB for both LR and PS

Files are CR2 raw files, that I open from LR into PS, which then gets saved as TIFF back into LR when I save in PS.

I have been playing around and it is not just isolated to the lasso tool. It is also the marquee tools. It happens when I am adjusting the layer mask from the "properties" panel however. if I adjust the layer mask by using the "Refine edge" instead, then the problem does not exist. Please see my screenshot comparing the two views of the same file (one open in PS and one in open in LR). These are the same file.

I have exact the same problem. It comes after the last update. OSX, with tif and jpg. Save from PS or LR doesn't matter.

Try to export an old file from LR. You will see it works. But if you open the old file in PS not.
