Photoshop redraw bug on iMac Retina after updating to Sierra

After updating to Sierra from El Capitan I've noticed a repeatable, incredibly frustrating bug that occurs when using certain tools and layers. Say for instance I apply a fill on a layer, on screen it will not show that anything has occurred unless I scroll or zoom in. It doesn't always happen, sometimes Photoshop runs like a dream, but once it starts it will not seem to fix itself unless I reboot the entire machine. There are others on Retina Macs that have been experiencing the same thing. And yes, I have tried every combination of turning off the graphics processor, adjusting its advanced setting, etc. Once it starts it doesn't matter what settings I change. iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014) 4 GHz Intel Core i7 24 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 AMD Radeon R9 M295X 4096 MB

Just to make sure: For any change of those settings to take effect the application needs to be quit and restarted – so the issue persists across sessions?
