So I have this idea that would allow the users to create a new folder on the desktop. The new folder would be call a PSD folder. Here you could place a bunch of assets in the folder and it would make a new psd file with all the assets in layers when you open the psd.

In PS is feature which is called "Load Files into stack" and it does very similar thing. You can select folder from you desktop and PS create single document and avery file in selected folder is new layer.

Yeah stacks will do a version of what I want. However, if you could could right click on the desktop and choose something like new PSD or PSD folder without photoshop being open and then drag and drop a bunch of files or a folder onto the PSD and it would automatically do what stacks dose. You would have your .psd file that could be named and would be already saved. It would be ready ahead of opening.  Almost everything I open in PS results in a PDS version of the file. Yeah its not going to change the world or revolutionise PS but it would be one extra feature.
