Photoshop process stays in task manager indefinitely after closing. This keeps photoshop from opening again and also takes up memory. Work around for this is to go into task manager and "end task" the process.

Running Photoshop CC 2015 on Windows 10.

I find this happen on my machine at times when the Creative Desktop Application is a windows background task. I normally do not have the Creative Cloud desktop load when I start windows on my Workstation.

Same here, Windows 10 Pro x64. Actually only noticed this because Adobe update manager warned me that photoshop was open? Although there was NO ICON in the task bar. I switched to task manager and sure enough there it was...

Me too.  Windows 10 Pro x64.  Really annoying if you hop in and out of PS a lot.
