When saving PNGs, the only options Photoshop gives are "max compression" and "no compression at all".
"Max compression" looks like pngcrush, and takes a long time, and no compression usually isn't very useful. Saving a 8000x3000 image:
Photoshop, smallest: 230 seconds, 19.8 MB
XnView (probably libpng): 25 seconds, 21.1 MB
I always have to save large images to TIFF and use another application to convert to PNG because of this. There should be an option for normal compression.
