Photoshop Path Handles Hard to Grab

When working with paths, the bezier handles have too small of a hot area for selecting. The active area needs to be larger. It seems like it's only one pixel in size. Also make the handle a little larger but really if the hot area just covered the existing handle it wouldn't be a problem to grab. They seem easier to grab in Illustrator for some reason.

It's gotten pretty bad and I'm not old nor do I have eyesight issues, they've just become a b*tch to hit now. I'm missing them probably 35% of the time now. I'd like to see this changed back to however it was a year or two ago (maybe three), not sure precisely when it changed but it definitely has.

I'm running with the same issue. First the paths aren't as visible as they used to be and worse you can't select them for me almost 75% of the time. I'm using a stylus on a wacom tablet. They are very hard to grab and when I'm making paths sometimes I lose the trail midway through. Paths are an important tool and now I find them so aggravating. Please improve this issue. It started with PSCC on a 2016 4K iMac. I had a ten year old iMac before and CS3 and it worked fine then. Seems like a resolution issue. Paths need to be a little more conspicuous and also have a kind of "Snap" feel. Where if you are close enough (an there aren't other paths around) it would assume you are attempting to grab it.
