Is it possible to override the wacom stylus eraser in photoshop so that photoshop doesnt automatically use the eraser tool? I remapped it to change to brush mode "clear" instead(so I can keep the same brush and size) in wacom settings but photoshop just keeps changing it to the eraser tool.

Yes, that should be available to customize from the Wacom driver.

Thanks for your reply Jeff. As stated I remapped it to "clear brush mode" in the wacom settings but photoshop keeps switching it to eraser tool. Is there a way to override that or turn it off in photoshop do you know? so that it doesnt keep switching to eraser tool

Only in the driver. It sounds like a driver issue. Do you have the latest driver?

Thanks again for your reply Jeff. Im going to assume its just something that photoshop wont allow at this time. It works in other software but photoshop overrides the eraser for wacom stylus's it seems to the eraser tool no matter what.

Out of curiosity I just set mine to "disabled" for Photoshop, and sure enough, it still erases.
