Photoshop: Output Intent not honored when opening PDF files

Let's say we have a PDF exported according to PDF/X-4:2010 and has the color profile set as Output Intent. This is very common.

If you open/place this PDF into Photoshop it will simply ignore the output intent and assume/assign the CMYK profile from your colour settings. This can make the colors come out wrong.

Expected behaviour: It honors the output color profile defined in the file. Like Acrobat.

Two proposed solutions:
1. Opening/Placing a PDF will use/honor the output intent defined in the PDF.
2. Opening/Placing a PDF will use/honor the output intent defined in the PDF. Make it an option to ignore the output intent in the Import PDF dialog (if someone for some reason needs this).
