Photoshop: Option to disable scroll wheel in dropdowns

Currently, when selecting anything from a panel dropdown, focus stays in the dropdown. If you have "Zoom with Scroll Wheel" enabled, and are expecting to zoom, you may be surprised when you instead change the dropdown options quickly (sometimes adding many history entries for blend modes).

There should be a Preferences option to either:
- disable the scroll wheel in dropdown lists,
- prevent focus from remaining in the dropdown, and/or
- allow the scroll wheel in dropdowns only when your pointer is hovering over it.

(This should be an option and not a change, because it is poor design etiquette to change a behavior that others might already be accustomed to.)

What do you mean by "drop down"? Do you mean menus? Those are standard OS menus, and we can't change the behavior of them much.

Just like when I done choosing blending mode toption, eg: overlay, it's still leave highlight at that so I need to press ESC button to lose focus on to that.

Ok, yes you are talking about menus, and those are standard OS behaviors. If you have changed the OS behavior settings, or added a utility program that alters the OS menu behavior -- try resetting those to default behaviors.
