Hello, please help: I need to export images created at 300 dpi for print, I need them to be png or jpeg at 300 dpi, and no matter what I do Photoshop exports at 72 dpi. I tried with : Export as..., Save as... and nowhere I can see a setting for the resolution. What can I do? Is it possible that Photoshop is not able to export high resolution images?! It seems impossible... Thank you for any advice

Actually, the dpi setting doesn't really change the pixel count in the output. You should be able to give the images (which will seem to be very large - in inches or centimeters) to the print driver, where you should be able to adjust the dpi setting that will apply during the printing process. So it should be really simple...

Good luck!

Try doing this, go to edit/preferences/units and rulers. Set your new document preset resolutions. New images will now be saved according to that setting.

Best wishes,

Hi Valentina,
I should have also said that when you have saved the images, you can then save them (save as ) to any other media directly without using an export function. This should help you avoid any problems that that function might be causing you.
Best wishes,
