I've been doing color grading in Adobe Speedgrade and I've come to enjoy the image analysis tools, or Scopes. They help visualize and quantify the color data across an image and in different ways, and I think this would be a useful and unique tool for Photoshop users.

With them, a user could more easily spot color problems and make edits, maybe even optimize images for a chosen color space, understanding and editing contrast in different ways, etc. It sure looks cooler than the current "Histogram" pane. And a bonus: getting Photoshop used to video color grading tools will only let everyone work together even better. FOR THE FUTURE!
