Photoshop Lightroom 6.9 update. Since the update the white balance control in the Develop module is not working. When importing a raw file and selecting Develop the white balance is not set. You have to selct Auto to activate the white balance slider and obtain the white balance value.

Not so on my system. WB:      =     As Shot and sliders can be moved. Numbers to the right of the sliders are at zero and grayed out but once the slider is moved the numbers change and show white.

In Lightroom 6.9 I have no value on Temp and the Temp slider cannot be moved, this is for As Shot for both RAW and JPG.  Tint is working fine. Temp will only work once I have selected AUTO.  I also have version 4 of Lightroom and both the Temp and Tint sliders for As Shot work using jpg.

Mike,

First stop would be to reset your preference file.

Close Lightroom
Hold down [Alt/Opt]+[Shift] while relaunching Lightroom
Overwrite the preferences when prompted.
Close Lightroom
Restart your computer.

Does White Balance behave normally now?

Thank you very much for the reply. I have done this and it is now working correctly. Was this caused through a corrupt preferences file? Many thanks.
