Photoshop lags while drawing with the shift key

Photoshop lags randomly when pressing and holding the shift key while using the brush tool, but only with my drawing tablet.
It's actually a very specific problem, and I'll try to explain it as best as possible.

When I'm drawing with my tablet and I press the shift key to get a straight line, the first line drawn will be normal, and this works if I toggle the shift key while drawing as well to get a sort of square loop effect.
As soon as I stop drawing and I start to draw another line, if at any point I press the shift key again, Photoshop will lag and any lines I draw afterwards will not appear until it stops lagging and the shift option of making the line straight will not affect the line, so it turns out to be crooked.
The newest drivers for my tablet have been installed, and I am currently running Photoshop version 2015.1.2 20160113.r.355 x64
OS: Windows 8.1 x64
Tablet: Huion 1060 Pro+
Resetting the preferences didn't work, resetting the tool didn't work either.
I haven't tried to re-install Photoshop yet.
This problem only exists in Photoshop, I've tried other painting programs and 3D sculpting programs. I've tried using the adjustment brush in Lightroom and I can't repeat the problem. This problem only happens in Photoshop so I've fairly confident it's not my drawing tablet or computer.
