Photoshop: Crashing (out of date ATI video card driver)

Hi there, My photoshop has been crashing ever since I reluctantly upgraded to windows 8 a few months ago, and now I have a project which Is photoshop heavy so I need to sort this out. Here is the crash report:

Your AMD/ATI video card driver is crashing. Update it from AMD's website.

It's not an atig6txx.dll problem! Driver work perfectly, even in Fallout 4, only latest Photoshop 16.1.0.301 crashing (i just updated today, and previous PS works perfect). PS starts normaly, but if i call preferences (ctrl+k) or even call "open file" dialog box (ctrl+o) crash appear. It's ridiculous.

Yes, the crash shown in the original post was due to a bug in the ATI driver, and updating the driver from AMD/ATI's website should have solved it.
