Photoshop CS6: Issues since upgrading to OS X Mojave

Ever since I upgraded to OS X Mojave I have encountered a few issues with various software on my iMac. I'm aware many of the problems involve compatibility (32bit-64bit thing), but according to my system report Photoshop CS6 is compatible. However, I seem to get the following error messages when working on some files - Could not update smart object files because of a program error - or - Could not update smart object files because an unexpected end-of-file was encountered. I've never encountered these errors before, so it seems too coincidental that they appear now since upgrading my OS X. Is there a solution or some fix I can use?

Could you post an example file that exhibits this behavior with CS6 on Mojave?

Hi Jeffrey. This is one of the errors I'm experiencing. I know other sites say the file is corrupt, but it never did this before I ungraded to Mojave. In some cases I flatten the layers and sometimes it works and other times it doesn't.

the problem applies to all smart objects - even when I create a new smart object...

Jeffrey thanks for reply. It looks like I've found a solution to the problem. After editing the open smart object, select FILE ---> SAVE, then after closing the file the error does not appear and the smart object works as it should be :)
