photoshop is saving psd and tif files incorrectly since last update. Files are being reported as corrupted. Another designer is reporting the same problem.  It's hit or miss. Sometimes (rarely) it saves correctly. Mostly not.

What version of Photoshop? What OS/version are you running on? Are you saving to a local disk or a server/remote file share?

saving to a local disk, newest version of Photoshop (was just updated this past week), Win 8.1. I had even recreated my design from scratch thinking maybe I messed up somewhere but that did not help. I finally tried creating a new workspace and again started it from scratch and it worked for me this time. I don't know if that fixed it for good or not but it worked today for me. I'm wondering if the update corrupted the workspace I was using? Another designer I know, said she had trouble saving hers as well. Had to save it four different times before it saved correctly.

Are you using any font management utilities/plugins?  (one used to have a bug that would corrupt saved files)
